2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Add Tone ring to Dana 70

Does anyone know if the tone ring can be added to an older Dana 70/80?
I believe the 94/95 had no tone ring but the newer ones did.
If anyone can clarify it would be very helpful.

yes. you may need to machine the outside of the carrier down to accept. its not hard.
