Last weekend I added a brite box, white nite backup lights and a Mag-Hytec transmission pan. Last night was the first dark night I could really see the difference between normal lights and the additions. What a difference. !!! :--) I could actually see exactly where I was backing up into. Highly recommend this upgrade in lights.

As for the Mag-Hytec transmission pan the hardest part was draining the old transmission fluid and installing the pan by myself. Sure could have used a second pair of hands to hold things in place but got the job done with minimal transmission fluid in my hair and mouth. transmission fluid sure tastes funny.

All in all good upgrades. I am pleased. Also took the time to stop the leak I had in the transmission cooler line by the temp probe. transmission temps are lower.

Now save money for the next upgrade. :)

Cool .....

Im courious about the BRIGHT BOX will people keep flashing there lights at you trying to make you dim them???

I dont have much need for going backwards ... :>

And Im planning on a Deep Trany pan myself ... concidered MagTech all the way till I seen the new uprise in vendors exspecially ATS's model figgering also in my plans are ATS INTAKE and EXT MANIFOLDS the transmission pan may be a great match. .

This is way down the road ... saving Bombing $$$'s for SDX

How much did the transmission temp go down with the Magtech??

Thanks

The Brite Box only boosts the light of your highbeams... so the only reason people should be flashing you is because you have your high beams on. They don't change the amount of light on low.

don't really like salt but maybe will make it taste better.

The temps stay down longer and it takes more of a hill with a load (and higher speeds) to make the needle climb off of 100 degrees.

My transmission temp runs 150* most of the time. Outside temp of 90+. Do hard back up of my 5th wheel for about two-three minutes and it will hit 190-200*.
