Adding cooled seats

For some reason Chrysler engineers didn't think the folks with manual transmissions would want cooled seats in 2010. So I purchased an aftermarket kit and am going next week to have the leather panels in my front seats changed out to perforated leather and the fans installed. However, I need to find a keyed power source to tie into for the fans. Any ideas? I know there is a keyed power port under the center arm rest, I thought about tapping in to that.

The 12 Volt outlet on the Dash, one is switched that's what I used for my gauages.

Sounds like a great aftermarket mod. Please post some photos and details once the work is done.

Will do. I was supposed to go by the uhpolstery shop this week, but because of work did not make it. One downfall, is when I purchased the aftermarket kit it also came with seat heaters. That is the only way it came. Of course, I already have those on the truck and hardly ever use them here in Houston. Even on the lowest setting they make my back sweat in the winter. I will keep the factory seat heaters and just put the aftermarket ones back in the box on the shelf.
