adding cruise control to a 5 speed

I have made it down to the to the last few problems on my conversion. My donor truck was a 91. 5 intercooled 5 speed without a tach or cruise. I added a clockspring, the switches, a brake switch and a vacuum module. I have a new engine computer and still no cruise. It is not getting any signal out of the computer. Was cruise even offered on a 91. 5 intercooled 5 speed and has anyone ever added one to there truck? I need some help here. :{

Speed Sensor

How are you sensing the vehicle speed? Your old truck had a mechanical speedometer and your doner truck an electric one. The cruise control will not work until it sees 45 mph vehicle speed. Also note that a switch to disengage the cruise is required on the clutch pedal as well as the brake.

I used everything from the 91. 5 donor truck. I have a 97 NV 4500. the speedo has the adapter and a wire to the 91. 5 instruments. I do not have a crank sensor on my 91. 5 like I do on my 92 auto with cruise. I think that the computer for the manual transmission does not have the programming for the cruise. Any body out ther with a pre 92 with a manual transmission and cruise.
