hi, i have seen my transmission trmps. go up to 220 degrees while in traffic this summer. im not to happy about that at all. i was thinking if adding a fan to pull air through the stock cooler would help to bring down the temps. while sitting in traffic?has anyone got any ideas or done this with good results? thanks to anyone with any info. carl

The more air the better, but the factory fan should pull air through. Is it coming on? Is your rad clean? If you didn't relocate the breather bottle behind the fan, then your radiator is most likely clogged and blocking airflow across the intercooler, condensor and transmission cooler. I'd check these things out first.

thanks for the advice nps. no i didnt relocate the breather bottle & your right the area around that thing is nasty. ididnt think of that ,ill check and clean out radiator & relocate the breather bottle. probally why i neverhad this problem in recent summer heat. thanks again carl
