Hey guys-

I want to put some of the factory fog lights on my truck. I was looking on ebay and they sell a new harness, headlight switch and fog lights from dodge. It says for 99-02. Anyone converted their early 2nd gen using that? What should i do and what do you guys recommend for wiring it up?

Question why would you want a dodge fog light kit? :{ I as have many others took ours out Oo. and replaced them with a good aftermarket light Like a PIAA or a HELLA lamp system. More light, better quality and I assume you will be adding a aftermarket switch much better system most aftermarket lights if bought in a kit come with relay's,wiring, switch ect and fit in the factory bumper hole at least it did in my 2001. 5 imho you will be much happier with a aftermarket kit same labor to install so buy a better product. my dodge fog lights lenses foged over in the first year I had them -Junk- good luck with your search just something to think about TOD

Only reason is b/c they are cheap compared to the piaa's

I have a reunel bumper with the fog light holes and want to install something in the holes. What piaas or other brands do you recommend?

If you get that kit is has a different headlamp switch. Ours requires a relay and different wiring. The switch goes by the OD switch and on these it is part of the headlite switch. Our lite switch pulls out and this kit has a rotary switch. They are not interchangeable. I oerderd mine from the dealer for a 97 and got this setup, forced them to give me the 97 wiring kit and gave them parts from the kit I couldn't use.
