Adding reg cab behind seat storage from 2nd gen?

Has anyone added a set of the upper storage cubbies from a second gen regular cab to their third gen reg cab? I think I'm really going to miss the extra storage when my new truck gets here. I'm leary of drilling into the back of the cab to get them mounted without knowing where to do it.



Any suggestions or experience?

Looks like I may be out of luck. I took the bins out of the brackets that hold them to the cab in my 02 tonight. It appears the brackets are bonded to the rear cab carpet panel with no screws or any way to remove them. I suppose I could fab something up but these were perfect for my needs.
