Adding STACKS!

I have seen several dodges in the last few weeks with stacks and now i am bitten with the bug!! I think my girlfriend might leave me, but i really, really, want stacks! Besides, I figure i can now make enough smoke to justify them. Any body have any info on a good suplier for the parts. I dont have any good local truck stops to go shopping in. I do know that i would like to go with twin stacks with a little turnout on the top so i dont need the coffe cans. Any info would be great! Thanks!



PS: I am warming up the plasma cutter!

I bought all my parts at www.airflow.com. Check out the truck pix in the signature for some pictures of the install. I did the bent tip I think you're wanting. Have fun!

Dunno if yer interested in the slant cuts or not, but thats what I installed on mine, and I don't get any rain water inside it. What I did was, I ran 4" pipe halfway up the 5" stacks, the 5" overhangs the base tube, to let water run out the bottom without gettin' in the "real" pipe. It works real good, I don't get any soot sprayin' outta' the stack, and it sounds waaaaaaaaaaaay cool!

I got my parts from Cumberland Truck Parts. They have several stores in Pennsylvania, and were the cheapest I could find. I went with the turned tips to keep the rain out (and they came off of my pete so I didnt have to buy them )

is engine performance influenced by length of the exhaust system? I know in gas vehicles tuned exhaust systems are an important part of the engineering process, can you bolt anything you want on these diesels and length, shape, etc dosent matter?
