Hi folks,

One of the few options that the silver beast didn't come with was the anti-spin rear diff.

Which company makes the best limited-slip differential, and can anyone recommend a shop in the Ontario area to do the install?

Will the diff from any Dana70 work, or does it need to be a special one to accomodate the exciter ring for the ABS/speed sensor?

Thanks in advance!!!!

I had the same situation with my 01. I went to my local 4X4 specialist and he said the Dana Powr-Lok was the OEM unit. A little research showed the Powr-Lok to be a solid performer. I have been very pleased with the unit. A word of caution, I has taken almost 3 bottles of friction modifier to keep the new unit from chattering in turns.

DMoremen -

I was thinking about putting the Powr-Loc in my open carrier. How much did it cost you to add? I asked the dealership what they would charge for it, and they quoted my something like $1400 just for the parts! Did you install it yourself?

I got the same kind of quotes from the dealer. I had Louisville 4 Wheel Drive do the work. Parts and labor were less than $800.
