Forgive my ignorance if this is in the wrong forum, but I couldn't seem to find much info on this. Most guys here tend to run Power Service from what i've seen. Is anyone running Stanadyne? If so, where do you get it?

I seem to have found a good site that sells 3 gallons, which treats 1500 gallons of diesel, for about 120 bucks shipped to my door.

Any suggestions? Comments? Issues? Advice?

I can't say i'm a big fan of Power Service, and hence why i'm looking into Stanadyne. From the reports and testing i've seen it, and Johne Deere winter, seem to be the best options out there for those of us looking to reduce the wear scar rating.

Thanks for any and all input, guys!!!

P. S. - Anyone got any idea on the shelf life of it?

I use Power Service and after using about 5 others including the mopar additive from genos Power Service seems to work the best for me. It seems to have more power and way quieter. I guess it is like running BIO, it varies from truck to truck how it runs.

Thanks for the reply. I think i'm leaning towards the Stanadyne, obviously. But, I imagine ultimately they should all accomplish about the same thing, right?

I am with you on the fact that they should all do the same. But they don't seem too. I have never used stanadyne(sp) but there are lots of guys here that do. I would be willing to try it if I didn't have to buy a case at a time. Just can't find it around here. Hopefully if we keep this at the top someone will chime in. :)
