Those look identical to the ones I bought on ebay and installed several months ago.

The good: I got both upper and lower adjustable arms for a very low price, they do work, and my old control arms came out the very hard way leaving me no choice but to replace them.

But they could be SOOOOO much better. You will notice that these adjustable control arms adjust only at one end. A much better control arm design would have a left-hand thread at one end and a right-hand thread at the other. As these are, you must completely drop one end free to adjust them and must adjust in 1/2 turn increments (with coarse thread) requiring fine tuning be done using the stock cam bolt. With the previously described set-up, disconnecting either end would not be necessary and adjustments could be very minute and infinite. You would no longer need the cheesy, rusted, Dodge cam adjusting bolt at all.

They also have no grease zerks (I installed my own) and the factory control arm bolts (metric) fit sloppily in the bushing sleeves, so I went with slightly larger SAE bolts and made my own cam adjuster bolt.

I plan to build a MUCH better set of control arms with rebuildable, greaseable johnny-joint style ends using much beefier DOM tubing and L&R threaded inserts.

But these like you are considering are somewhat better than the factory arms until then. I sure wouldn't pay very much for them, though, they simply aren't that good.

thought so

I checked out the solid steel units look sweet but I'll have to refinance the truck to buy them and I don't even see grease zerks in the photo. I have sent off an e-mail to Spirson to see if they make them for a 2nd gen CTD, but I think they are adjustable from one end only as well:confused:
