I am ready to order an 05 and was informed by the local dealer that the adjustable brake pedals will not be available until later in the year. That also applies to the Laramie package.

Does anyone have any information on this?

The adjustable pedals option has been available since the '03 model year. My '03 Laramie has an adjustable brake pedal along with the accelerator pedal. They are a unit and move together. It's great for my height challenged wife!

Adjustable pedals are great, especially for short people. With adjustable pedals, seat and wheel, one can get into just about any configuration that fits. They have been available since '03 and I cannot imagine why the salesman told you that unless there is a shortage of parts or that they have changed the design. Memory would be nice for multiple drivers.

Dean is right. Power pedals are very nice. Ditto for the power seats. Without memory, though, it'll drive you nuts with multiple drivers. If you're anything like me, it takes forever to get my driving position just right after someone changes the settings. In my mind, memory is a must: once you've had it (I've had Bimmers with and without the function), you can't live without it.

Power pedals

:( If I could only get the wife to remember to set the seat and pedals back.

Her 4' 11" Me 6' Jammed my knees more than once:mad:

Memory would be great ( for both):D

They're even nice for tall people. I alternate my seating position frequently on long drives and adjust my pedals to match.
