Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Adjustable timing boxes ?

Does anyone make a timing box that is adjustable or only starts timing adjustments above say 2500 rpm? I only get high EGT's at higher rpm due to lack of timing. No, I don't want timing for everyday normal driving. Thanks in advance.

The closest to this yo can get is a Comp. Just turn it off when you don't want the timing.

Turn it off?? That takes all the fun out of it. I bought the blue chip blue box just because it doesn't have timing. This works out great except at higher rpm I get higher egt's than I want. Vendors, anyone want to build an adjustable timing box?

You think Marco could write us a custom program for his ECM upgrade? We could ask. Advanced timing when water temp is below 160 and engine is below, what, 1700 rpm? And 0 or retard the timing when engine is warm and making power or towing. Or return control back to stock specs? What do you think?

That is a good idea. I bet Marco could do that without much problem. I am looking for timing in the upper rpm. Under 2500 rpm and EGT's are always under 1200 (usually no more than 1100 ). When I go above that I can easily hit 1300 on the lowest setting of the Blue box. With my turbo and exhaust and only 275's I think my EGT's should be better under control than they are now.
