whats up ya'll... ... .....

do any of you know hor to adjust the BIG HEAD actuator wastegate to eliminate the "woosh, woosh, woosh, shake, shake, shake" you get while letting off the go pedal with boost on the rise? it got real bad when i installed my DD11's, and propane makes it even worse:eek: maybe this isn't even my problem? any advice would be appreciated..... thanks... ... . james

This may be a dumb ?, but, are you lifting quickly after producing alot of boost? I know when I do that that's what happens, no good for the turbo:eek: HTH

James, this is also known as "barking". When under heavy boost and when you lift your foot off the throttle abruptly, the turbo actually tries to start spinning backwards, hence, the "barking".:eek:

You think you were surprised the first time it happened to you... it really caught me off guard the first time it happened to me after I had my Air Bulldog induction hood installed. The double wall, fiberglass hood really jumps around when the turbo "barks".

If your Banks Big Head wastegate actuator is adjusted to open at a predetermined pressure setting which is based on your specific equipment, and does, everything is fine.

james , it has nothing to do wit hthe wastegate , its has to do with your driving habits , the only way for it to stop is to stop getting on it hard and letting off to quickly .

I find the most problem with barking is when tapping on the brake to disengage the cruise on a hill, hard habit to get into to keep your foot on the throttle and brake with your left foot. My Bigheads have never been adjusted, they bark just as good as the stock turbo.
