I have a 2000 truck and the previous owner install oversized tires on her. The speedo is now very slow. My question is can I change the gear in the transmission to correct this or do I need to do something else.

Thanks

Nope. It is controlled electronically. You can take it to a dealer and have it adjusted for a little bit of $$$ I imagine, or if you have a Smarty you can adjust it that way.
