I installed, rather had i had installed some pretty bright low beams bulbs. Do like it a lot, but was wondering if I can adjust the light fixture to lower the beam just a little. As I'm getting sporadic flashes from on coming traffic, thinking my H. brights are on :{ Living out in the county is a dark world at night, not to mention all the critters bolting across the roads when they hear the diesel:-laf

I think there is not much difference between yours and the 10 I have. I read this on another forum and found the adjusting screw. On mine when you open the hood you will see a round hole at the back of the headlight on top where you can get a headlight adjusting tool in there and turn the screw. Looks like it is a 10mm nut with a torx hole in the center so if you got a small socket with a long extension you should be able to get to it. I will see if I can find the link to adjusting the headlights but I have it on the computer at home and I am at work now. But open the hood and get a flashlight and shine down in the holes on top of the fender and you will see it. Yours should be similar to mine or like it but you know how them engineers design this. And the headlights ain't no better on the new ones I put silverstars in for the low beam and silverstar ultras for the highbeam they don't make ultra's for the lowbeam yet.

What brand of light did you install ?and how much brighter are they ?

the only adjustment is up and down.

it's a torx bolt/screw. i keep the screwdriver next to the extra hitch pins. so that when i have a load, i can give the lights a turn or two to keep the lights out of oncoming traffic's eyes.

then when i get done i turn them back to where i had them. i keep the number of turns on a small notepad for each of my trailers. so that i don't have to stop and mess with them after i get on the road.

in most parts stores i can find replacement or extra bright bulbs for the 08+ trucks. where did you find them? thanks
