On my 1996 Dodge with 163k on her since the year and a half I have owned her I have had to adjust the idle three times. I was wondering if this is normal or is something about to go wrong or does something needed to be replace ?

Thank you

It seems to be fairly normal. My '98 seems to need to have the idle adjusted up once a year or so.

I would say it is not normal. I have 200,000 miles on my 1995 and the idle has never changed or been adjusted.

I second the not normal. I have done mine once because a mechanice I took it to set it too high when testinging fuel pressure. 750-850 is where you want it with the AC on.

I say not normal as well. I've adjusted mine exactly three times, and once was because of the GSK install.

Right on! I feel your pain man I had to rebuild my transmission after our honeymoon. I went with a BD torque converter and really enjoy it. You really can tell when the clutch engages. Thanks everyone for the help
