Forrest, most thermostats have an adjustment screw in the shaft that hold on the knob.

pull off the knob and look down into the shaft. get a tiny screw driver and make small adjustments until the temps match

You might want to post this question on the RV HVAC and Appliances forum under the RV Systems and Technologies folder over on iRV2.com. There are several certified RV techs who frequent that forum that could probably give you the best answers to your question.

If you're experiencing food burning on the bottom in your RV's oven, that seems to be the nature of the beast. In every one we've owned, you have to lower the temperature and extend the cooking time from that called for in the recipe for food to turn out right.

First you are cooking with LPG and its not as hot as natural gas , two the altitude has plenty to do with temp changes on a trailer . Use center of oven and adjust time to add for altitude. Most set at mean sea level. Ron Bissett in Metro Louisville Ky:-{}

Wow ... what a touchy adjustment that is. Right on Bob ... pulled the oven knob & there she was.

Mine ended up being counter clockwise for higher temperature.

Ron ... yep, got an oven temp guage from Tru-Value & set it on the center slide out & adjusted away. It'll be interesting to see how altitude affects temp. We're @ 5 kilo feet & often camp much higher.

Thanks again all ;)
