Does that make sense? I set my timing this summer to 1. 79mm lift. This winter seems more than a sec of cranking for it to run. Normally it is under 1 sec on the key. Now seems like it turns over a time or two before going. maybe 3 sec of crank.

Is this normal? Dont remember that last winter.

Thanks!

My stock 92 does that , how ever the pump backed off on it , lost the bottom stud !!!!

So im not shure if the timing moved or not , how i found it it was leaking oil and it started jumping on the throttel , but it could be the cold advance not working correctly as mine is not maybe same with yours ????

As "Pastor Bob" RIP and I talked about we both ran timing advanced about a day and a half:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:. I've never had starting problems associated with timing.

Should start easier with addvanced timing. Almost always fires on the 1st cylinder up unless its really really cold. Then it take s a couple revs. Is it really really cold there?

Ok. Thanks guys. I know my issue then. I think I have a bit of fuel bleed as I am still running the emergency tank from my trip. Have been working 18 hour days 6-7 days a week and have not put thr real tank back in yet. Must be getting a little bit of fuel pressure loss at startup.

Thanks guys! :)
