2 deg. advanced timing and edge juice

Is anyone running the edge/attitude along with either the rocktech crank sensor or modified tone ring with +2 deg. on a cummins 600 or 610?? I am eager to try this but I don't know how much timing edge is using altready? I have read all the threads and cant really find anyone running this combo?

thanks, jamie

i guesss 111 views and no replys means no one here has tried this. I guess ill be the guinee pig.

I run a Juice/Attitude with a PDR cam with no problems on my 305/555. I would think that the cam does more advanced timing than this sensor. Without knowing the exact cam specs, I don't know how much more advanced than the sensor 2-degrees. The cam gave me a solid 1. 5 mpg gain, while the limited fuel tanks I've run with the Juice is showing an additional 0. 25-0. 5 mpg gain. Don't know about the EGT changes since I did a bunch of other changes around the same time.

TDR member jwilliams3 is running a TST PMCR with a Scheid cam on his 04. 5 with good results too. The TST is probably more aggressive on the timing advance than the Juice too.

Hope this (somewhat) answers your questions!

I will be in two days. Oo. You may want to check the 9 page thread on the timing sensor on dtr.com for more info.

Cam timing and injection timing are two totally different animals. :D

I realized that after I typed it! And that's about the 3rd time someone told me that - I would have thought I would have learned it by now!!!

I have run it on my truck with the Power Pup stacked with the juice and tone ring mod. but mine is not a 600. I had no problems with to much timing. The TST and power pup stack give more timing then the above stack

I have had the Rokk crank sensor with the Juice and it seems to be a perfect match. Much more responsive, less smoke, better mpg, eveything Rokk claims. One of the best additions to the truck in my book.
