Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) advancing the timing

is there any one in the New Jersey area that can help me advance my timing on my 96? I just want it advanced to the point of where I can maximize fuel mileage. i was told that would be at 17. i want to maximize fuel mileage and feel alittle more power.

I'm in west central nj. and did mine i have all the tools . i'm not sure but i think only two deg. or so from stock and i would think the rpm you run should be considered . like 1600 rpm's 15 deg. 2200 rpm 16 deg. this is not specs i'm giving just a example . but any way i can help. mjs

Injectors I think make a difference too. Stock injectors I'd stop at 15 - 15. 25. Bigger ones like 370s go up higher to like 16-17. Vaughn
