Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Guys, new 06 (400 miles on it) with intake and exhaust. Here's my plan:
1. DTT transmission work: VB & TC and what ever else I can get for $3100... .
2. Smarty (when they come out for an 06)
I'm not looking to have the worlds fastest truck, just a nice perf boost and reliable power!
Questons:
1. For transmission work, what do I absolutely need outside the VB & TC? I know input / output shafts are required for tons of hp, but they're also very expensive... I'm thinking as long as I dont run smarty past 130hp level I should be ok without??? What's the approx cost for a full built transmission?
2. If I chicken out on the smarty (for warranty reasons)... . is it still worth doing the transmission on a stock truck? If so, what are the benefits i'd get for $3k? Better accelleration, reliability/durability, better towing???
3. Should I wait until the trucks broken in prior to doing the transmission / smarty? How many miles??
