I am looking at buying a '95 Dodge 2500 4x4, 5spd. It is a single cab and has 235,000 miles on it. Truck is in overall good shape, but not perfect. Hasn't had any mods done to it. The guy is asking $6,000. Does this sound like a reasonable price? The mileage has me a little concerned - not necessarily the engine, but the transmission, t-case, front/rear ends, etc.

Please let me know your thoughts! Would like to let the guy know something as soon as possible.

Thanks, Chris

I just bought a 94' 5 speed std cab with 243K for $10,000! But thats only because they gave me $3000 trade in on my old truck, I wouldn't have paid more than 8 for it. Around here manual transmission CTD's get top dollar, I consider what I got a deal!

Chris I would say that price is about right. If everything drives/operate's ok then I wouldn't be affraid to purchase it. Unfortunately CTD's (12V's especially) really hold there resale value around here in Middle Tennessee, and that's when you can find them. I had to go to Virginia to get my current truck, but I love it.

There is a nice 97 Club Cab Long Bed 4x4 5spd(I think) 2500 in wheels & deals in the 'Boro for around $12K I think with only 150K or so on it. Looks super clean seen it on-line (inside and out) and then saw it in W's&D's today.
