Quality check on "Springdale by Keystone"campers???

Anyone recently been to Oklahoma City from the northern route?

I need to go pick up some Amish furniture in two weeks from a 60 year family friend who makes furniture. We always go in the summer, but he got late on our special order this year - Solid Cherry Dining table - (54" round (top a full inch and a quarter) with 4 - 16" leaves - and 12 chairs). Am I stupid for driving out AND hauling a trailer there and back (U-Haul) or should I just rent and drive one-way. It really bug's me to spend an extra $300 to drive One-way... ...

I am going to be driving -

I'm wondering about taking a trailer from where I live in Washington and driving her roundtrip - half empty - rather that driving to Rochester Minn, and rent a trailer for a one way drop off back here... The one way is a lot more expensive than pulling a light weight enclosed trailer like a 5x10. And No Way will I have a commercial mover do it - HAD ONE BAD experience with these clowns..... nver again.

I think he is referring to the $300 to rent Uhaul trailers. I always thought Uhaul had high prices for what you get in trailer quality. I think I could buy a trailer (there are lots of covered snowmobile trailers out in the midwest) for what it would cost to rent a Uhaul trailer. BUT, if you need it then you gotta have it.

I might also try suggesting you talk to some places that deal in Horse trailers, I have gone to places like that that had used ones and arranged to rent them and they were usually very reasonable. If you get an enclosed one then you have the same protection from the weather and more head room for loading and unloading. I am living in Blue Earth, MN right now while I go to school and did this when I hauled some stuff back home to Rapid City. Be creative and you can usually find some good deals.
