Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Advice

My neighbor and friend just bought a 97 2500 5-speed. He is already quizzing me about how to get more power out of it. I have a 24v so I just told him to free up the intake and exhaust, get gauges and I would ask here what you fellows thought it would take to get him up around 325-350. He tows regularly about 12,000 lbs. and is not looking for EGT problems.

Here is what I did. I read all the different signatures from the different members. I looked at who had what and for what truck, then I composed a list of the most common components and started my research on each component and what it stood for and how it would work for what I needed. Best bang for buck for me was: KDP TABBED, BHAF, 4" exhaust, #10 plate from TST and 3GSK for the rpm's. Also take into consideration what his ratio is (4:10... . or what).
