Guys just bought a new ram. I am in the military and got deployed to the middle east. It has less than 3500 miles on it and I am going to be gone for 6 to 7 months. I stored it inside in a dry garage and covered it with a good truck cover. Disconnected both negative cables on the batteries. Filled it up with diesel. Will she be ok sitting for 6 or 7 months? Thanks?

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

Send the keys to me. I'll keep the tires ROTATED!!!!

Just kidding! She will be fine.

YOU stay SAFE.

I second the staying safe comment, and thank you for your sacrifice of family time and cummins time. I also think you just let some of us keep that baby "exercised". Better yet the military should bomb that baby to the max, paint it like a flag, armor it and let you and some of the other men use it for operations! Bet that would make an impression :--)

you might want to consider a fuel stabilizer in the tank and let it run through the system good before you shut it off other than that you should be fine and thanks for your service to this great country and come back safe.

Up Armored Cummins

You know that would be a good idea. I sure think that a bombed Cummins would do a whole lot better than that old GM 6. 2 diesel of getting a heavy up armored Humvee around. Wish it would fit..... that would be a no brainer. Thanks for the advise and support guys/gals appreciate it much! Good to know she will be ok when I get home.
