AEM Brute Force close to hood?

Anyone install the AEM Brute Force lately? Just did it tonight, and the heat-shield box seems oddly shaped as it is higher in the front closest to the front of the truck, where the hood is sloping down. As I closed the hood, I could see it hitting the insulation on the top of the hood. Not feeling comfortable with what would happen when someone might slam the hood shut, I bent the front corner of the heat shield down to keep it clear of the hood. Anyone else notice this?
