this is my honest opinion. D45 is a member of Cummins Forum.
I cannot speak for the "bruteforce", but the "workhorse".....
AEM "workhorse" is a "cheap" sys. IMO.
The filter that was included with the kit, is LARGE! My filter minder would still pull down to the max, and, no "here um" turbo!
The intake tube is less than 4", so I had to shim the 4510, kinked the metal on the turbo boot with a constant torque band clamp!
aem,... ..... I sold my CBH & AFE stage 1 Magnum, for you! BAD CHOICE!
"Intake less than 4" Thats a choke!
D45, you are measuring the outside of the filter intake that aem sends with the kit, not showing the shim kit that makes it fit!
Let's see a measurement of the inside of the metal intake tube!
I am not saying it is a bad looking system, just the opposite, but it is not advantageous!
D45 you are measuring the outside of the filter inlet, without the plastic shim aem sends with the kit!
AEM's Brute Force is a nice kit, but the Workhorse HD is better..... filter double the size and a much larger diameter tube.
I installed the Workhorse HD, AFE's Bladerunner, and removed the silencer ring at the same time. NICE and LOUD!
