Mexico RV experience?

Isn't this price high??????

Anyone know of a aero type front that can be grafted to a boxy cargo trailer. These things are like pulling a sail. I'm thinking a new above the truckbed addition that extends out a couple of feet with a proper shape would have to help.

I've googled the subject and haven't' found anything.

Thanks, RJR

Mopar Guy,

I have seen some fiberglass pieces that fit over the front of trailers, they are bubble shaped and like you stated extend out maybe a foot or two. While I was searching for my last trailer (spring 2002) I remember coming across them. I would search for trailer manufacturers or trailer dealers. Good luck

Yeah,

I will second Y-Knot's suggestion of checking with some of the manufacturers. I know the bubble front was an option when I bought my Wells Cargo. Check thier site for pics.

I just bought a new Wells with the cone on the front. Search on the words "Nose Cone". I saw a demo at the Wells dealer with a scale model and a wind tunnel, the fan would blow the model backwards without the cone and it sat still with the cone, sold me on getting one on my new trailer. I got 5 miles on the trailer, so can't tell you if it actually works!

Thanks for the link, that is a pretty straight forward URL. They have a video of the model I was mentioning on the site, pretty amazing the difference.
