Cat-Back Aeroturbine exhaust kits are now available for the 2004. 5-2005 Dodge Cummins. These kits are easy to install and eliminate the restrictive factory muffler, sound great, reduce EGTs and and drone. The factory exhaust is cut at the Cat and muffler outlet and the kit bolts into place using a factory hanger and 4" clamps. The Aeroturbine is mounted directly on the outlet of the Cat with the off-set pipe and extension pipe connecting to the factory tail pipe. The off-set pipe that comes int he kit makes up for the elevation difference between the inlet and outlet of the factory muffler. You can see a picture of the kit here. http://www.dieselpowerproducts.com/exhaust2

Thanks. Is anybody running aeroturbine with cat? How loud inside and outside cab? I am trying to eliminate the drone at 2000 rpm.

What is the difference between 4040 and 4040L?

The difference is the 4040 does not have a resonator and is 20" long tip to tip. The 4040L has a resonator built into the inlet of the Aeroturbine which makes it a little quieter than the 4040 and it is 26" long.
