A local muffler shop is selling the aeroturbine exhaust system and claiming a 2 to 3 mgp increase in fuel economy, with some folks claiming up to 5 mpg. Any one out there using the system and how do you like it?

I have the aeroturbine and did not realize any MPG increase BUT it sure sounds good. I don't even think it helped with the EGTs. I could find better things to spend my money on it retrospect.

Quite a few here on TDR have installed them, myself included (on my '03). None have seen an MPG improvement. They sure help the hissy raspy sound of the stock 3rd Gen exhaust though!

I rana aeroturbine on my 04. 5 and I liked the sound for awhile, but after a couple months I couldn't tell if it was a Ricer or a diesel, so i went and got rid of it and put dual 5" stacks. I didn't really notice much of a difference in mpg gain but I am sure anything is better than that factory crap. But back to sound it is like any exhaust system music to one persons ears junk to anothers all opinion.

I love mine to death! As far as milage increase, I saw like 1. 5 freeway increase. Been a while, have to remeber. I know it made a big difference towing too. As far as now, equiped as seen below, I know I am getting better than 20 on the freeway. Electronics can only do so much. Exhaust has to pull its wieght as well, and it does nicely. And, at May Madness I got probobly 20-25 compliments on the exhaust tone on the dyno. I also sell them, so PM me if you like.

I have the 4040L Aeroturbine on my "05" 2500. I haven't noticed any gains in MPG. Right now I wish I got the 4040 with no resonator. Want it to be a little more louder.

From the inside of the cab it sounds like I'm driving a ricer. I had my buddy take off with it so I can see how it sounds from the outside. It sounds good and now I know what everybody is hearing when I pass by. That's the last time I let anybody else other than my wife drive the Ram. The engine was cold and I him not to take it over 2000 rpm. He romps it into high rpms while in 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

I love mine! No MPG gain, but it sure sounds sweet. Combined with the AFE intake I lost 100deg EGT towing up a steep hill by my house. Most people love the way it sounds, a few think it's too loud... I think it's just right.
