Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) AFC allen head plug sealing washer

Adjusting AFC star wheel to reduce smoke. Dropped the aluminum sealing washer that sits under the allen head plug. Looked everywhere for it, can't find it right now but need to drive truck. (It fell down in the motor mount) Any harm in driving the truck with the just allen head plug in place?
