Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) AFC housing Screws

Just got done putting a TST Torque plate kit in my '98 and I have a question. Why in hell are there 3 different heads on the 4 machine screws that hold AFC housing cover on???? Other then taking 2 hours to get the screw w/break off head out [working around the 6 injector lines that go over the top of pump] everything went well. #@$%!



What is the purpose of having 2- 8mm heads, 1- break off head and 1- slotted head?



Needless to say all were replaced with 6mm socket head screws of appropiate length. :-laf

While it was under warranty this was easier to spot if there was tampering going on. When I did mine I made look like it wasn't touched. Can of Bluok paint worked wonders.
