afe air filter

Hey guys I just put my afe air filter on my 03. Make sure you check the threads on the metal houseing where you mount the air sensor. Mine had paint in the threads. I had to run a (8-32) tap to clean out the threads.

So did you notice any differences after installing the AFE? Turbo whine? Acceleration? etc...

Yes, you can here the turbo whistle more. It seems to have better throttle response. I have stacks on my truck too. I also have the lastest box from Bully Dog. The box is stock , 50 ,90 hp. The box is adjustable from inside the cab. The afe I have only ran with the box off. Bombing is fun but gets expensive.
