AFE Drop in filters

Yesterday I installed the edge and I noticed on the AFE filter top, that dust is getting in on the front left of the stock airbox. I pulled the turbo intake hose off and looked at the compressor wheel and could see that the dust was getting buy the filter. I just want to let you guys know if you have the AFE drop in filter, You better check the airbox top with the top of the filter. It is real tight fit, but you can see the red filter seal on the front of the airbox. I will be sealling the corners with tape, or get the pro guard setup.

I've been running a bead of grease around my stock box to keep out the dust. I pop off the lid and put grease around the edge of the box, seems to work.

Just got off the phone with Geno's got the AFE proguard 7 with pre filter. But in the meantime I will use the grease as you suggested. Thanks
