Well I got my Airaid system today 2/11/03

It took about 15 minutes to install, if that.

I honestly can say that the system is nice but not what I expected. It retains the lower factory airbox. Which I pulled out prior to reading the instructions

It uses a powder coated steel frame that goes over the factory air box, which installs only by hood friction, no screws or fasteners Now the K&N air filter used is oval about 5"X9-10" cone shaped, it pretty big. The unit retains the factory filter minder.

Seat of the pants opinion... . Not worth $299. 00

I believe I would of been happy with an AFE pop in filter.

Towing? I will let you know when I am pully the skid steer or my other trailer around. It seems that the turbo breathes better? We will see.....

My 02 VW TDI is great with the K&N pop in, noticed about the same difference.
