Kudos to...

Just installed AFE intake system, stage 1, and my hood latches but does not appear completely shut on that side. I know the hood acts as the top cover on these systems, so its supposed to touch the rubber gasket and form a tight seal right?

Has anyone else had this problem? I really like the system otherwise. It was easy to install and it feels like I'm getting a little more power/pickup off the line. I'm also running a pre-filter on it to keep it clean.

The Magnaflow muffler will be soon to come.

Make sure you have the correct kit,the earlier kits do not fit with a hood silencer pad.

Did you take the stock rubber grommets out that hold in the stock air-box? I think those are supposed to be pulled out so that doesn't happen.
