AFE PG 7 or Amsoil EA air filter?

Currently running an Amsoil EA filter but have heard the AFE pg 7 stage II will filter better.



Any opinions?

it might flow better but not seen anything that says it gives superior flow AND filtering... . if unhappy then change... if not then why worry. LOL

It's not that I am unhappy with my Amsoil EA (no dust in intake tube) - just want to make sure I am filtering to 99. 5% eff. -Cummins Minimum rating.

Pro's: lots of air and good filtration



cons: louder, expecially with a Jack brake, and at least with my set up increased turbo bark



I need to be real carefull in the upper settings of my TST untill I get my twins. I just run on level 3 or 4 because of the turbo surge. Most of my problems stem from too much fuel, but the filter doen't help. In a stock set up you might not see inceased bark.

AFE PG7 for Scotty III?

Does anyone know the part number and/or a supplier for an AFE PG7 filter to fit a Scotty III housing?



I really need a second filter element so I can rotate them for cleaning.
