Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) aFe pro guard 7

I installed the filter yesterday. When I went to put the filter restriction guage back on, I couldn't find an allen wrench to fit the bottom part. Is it metric? Or should it fit tight like it did in the stock box when you put it in?

That's odd, I don't have an allen bolt in mine. I just lubed it up slightly so I wouldn't tear the rubber and it slid right in. It moves a little bit but I have no boost issues so I know is is sealing sufficent enough for me.

Mine's got a recess for an allen head on the bottom. I unscrewed the top part (the gauge part) before I pulled it out of the stock air box, then I removed the lower part. I'm not sure I should have taken it apart. But oh well.



I had a chance to get out and check the boost PSI today. It would hit about 23-24. Before I could hit 26 with the stock air box w/ K&N filter. Not sure how that plays into all this? I checked the boot clamps and the loose restriction guage is on the inlet side.
