In about 10 minutes. :D Very easy mod.

I do have one question for anyone else who may have installed this. If you look at this pic, the intake tube is up firm against the wiring harness to the alternator. It was very tight, but everything is sealed up airtight. I will be OK there, correct?

It appears everything is positioned properly. I will check again when I re-check all my connections tonight.

Do you have a pic per chance of how close yours is?

Mine just cleared the alternator without touching. Its amazing how well they were able to design that intake tube to fit as well as it does.

Ended up going back to the BHAF because the Afe was a little louder than what I wanted.

Some people would love it.

I didnt notice the performance improvement that the TDR article claimed.

OK, did you guys install the intake against the turbo housing, or did you leave a gap between to allow for movement?

Crap, now I have to go out and look at it again.

Anyway, here are my initial observations, after my 18 mile round trip.

Performance it feels more responsive, possibly it works with the 4" exhaust that the PO installed???

It accelerated quicker, and sounded healthier to my un-trained ear.

Sound YUP! At idle it sounds pretty mellow, at cruise again mellow. But under hard acceleration, she whistle's like a big boy truck. Pretty cool, but did turn up the radio a tad.

Quality Again YUP. Very simple to assemble, the fit was perfect, and OK instructions.

Value I think so, got it for $250, and on their site, they price it at $592. 00 http://www.afefilters.com/5410072.asp

These are all opinions based on an 18 mile round trip, with rookie diesel operator (yours truly) at the controls  :)

This forum is great!
