aFe Stage 2 replacement filter

I have an aFE Stage 2 w/PG7 filter and prefilter and I think this filter has just about had it. I have managed to collapse the filter twice.



I looked at getting aFe's dry S filter media, $$$. They are right proud of those. Are there any other filters that will fit with the aFe stage 2 that are oil less?

Don't fear the oil :-laf. If you collapsed the filter it most likely took some physical abuse to the ss pleats from rough handling

Well I have an AFE Standard filter, 2 PG 7 filters and now a Pro Dry S filter. I have never colasped one. I only run 55-60psi boost so mabye that's why.



I paid $54 for the Pro Dry S filter, which although isn't cheap, is not that bad for a good filtering, dry and reusable filter.

I was looking at the wrong thing when I made the comment about the high price of the filter. It was the whole kit. Does aFe make a filter for 3rd gen stage 2 kits? I just looked through their Pro Dry S site and wasn't able to find a number for it.



I collapsed the filter in a large puddle of muddy water. Completely collapsed the filter and killed the truck. No water on the inside of the filter or intake tube.
