Ask and ye shall receive... As far as the massive hole in the front on my air box, it is part of an ongoing process/idea that I will cover in greater depth and detail later... Filter works great as far as I can tell... No 'dusting' in the intake tube... I have not been doing any oil analysis as of yet but I do intend to start soon so I will be able to give y'all a silicone PPM count... .

Glad you posted those pic's. I started to post something in this thread the other day, but almost posted something completely wrong...
The two links in the first post are for what looks like a cotton/oiled filter then the Pro Dry S. I was about to say the first was a PG7 but then I noticed that there are THREE cone style drop-ins (website). I don't know what the Orange w/Yellow is. From the website though, the PG7 version is BLACK w/Yellow (cotton). I suspect the link above is for their 5 layer... Moose's pic's look like the PG7.
I'm a little worried that the "Pro Dry S" is a "market" response... no specs and very little hype about efficiency. Almost hate to say that since a lot of people have probably already bought them... time will tell, I guess.
I just put an AFE (Mega Cannon II) in my truck last week. Kind of a pain in the butt figuring out basic info (like 1st poster's Q) on their site, especially for new stuff. Lot's of info but poorly organized.
I "was" a skeptic but I'm getting an impressive improvement in power (moderate, definately noticable) and spool up (dramatic). Some "free" power, but mostly just a VERY pleasant improvement in throttle response on the highway. Goes from 5psi to WAY past 35psi in well under one second. Probably spools 3x faster and 5psi higher. Very surpised. Paper filter was almost new BTW. I've never had any EGT concerns (should have noted them anyway) but I'm sure they will go down.
All I really wanted/expected was a long change interval, economy, modest power gain. Totally surprised by the spool up... Highly recommend the MGII (w/massive, cylindical (vs cone) PG7 filter)... fits the 5. 9 just fine, they plug the two extra ports needed on the 6. 7
They also have a new enclosed intake that uses their largest PG7 cone. You have to start from the AFE'S home page to find the two new intakes... (AFE. Are you reading this???) They (part numbers) show up as "coming soon" question marks (no pic) when you search by vehicle...
Sorry to go a little off topic. Seemed like a good place to jam this in...
