i installed a pacbrake and the 60lb springs and it just dont slow down like i thought it would. i pluged the little hole in the flap. now what would happen if i also plugged the big hole in flat or make it smaller?it does work properly. it just dont slow down like i think it would. thanks

I had the same issues when I put a Pac brake on my '97. It was working as designed, just didn't have as much slow down as I thought it should. Best thing to do is set up a backpressure gage and see how much pressure it is building. Also turn on the brake at idle and check for pre turbo exhaust leaks

i have checked for leaks before the tubo and no leaks with brake on. i even took it off ane checked to make sure it is closing all the way,and it is. i also checked it to make sure it activetes like it should. it works properly. now its time for gauge. what kind of gauge to check back pressure?also what fitting 1/4 0r 1/8 on pacbrake housing ?thanks.

I believe the fitting is 1/8th inch pipe

I used a vacuum/pressure gauge with a hose made to take the heat to check pressure at idle...
