After market air filter

I have a 2009 ram 3500 dually purchased recently. It was suggested to me to install an after market better air filter/cold air intake. Is this worth it and what would suggest.

Waste of time and money, no real improvement.

Yes and NO how is that for an answer! If the engine is stock and you plan on leaving the engine stock than the current Mopar air filter is more than enough. This filter will support up to and including 500 HP. Anything over 500 HP than I would install aftermarket air filter that would support the required air flow necessary to support this.
