After Market radio ???

I am looking to upgrade the head unit im my 04 ram. I am looking to install something that is satelite and navigation capable. I would also like to keep the steering wheel controls. I think I have narrowed it down to 2.



The Alpine- Alpine IVA-D106 DVD receiver at Crutchfield Signature



The Kenwood- Kenwood Excelon KVT-614 DVD receiver at Crutchfield Signature



I like the Alpine because it has a detachable face and looks like navigation installation is easier.



Does anyone run one of these? If so, opinions? Also is there any potential installation problems with the flip up screen hitting the dash or anything? I am already aware of the harness I need for the factory amplifier and steering wheel controls.

Crutchfield is way over priced. You can do better else where. As high priced as AK is, I can beat Crutchfield locally.

I have a Kenwood DNX-7100 I like it alot. I is sat. ready, nav, cd, dvd, mp3, thumb drive, and ble tooth for the phone.
