Just put a new headgasket on and some BD injectors in my 96 with the 215 pump. The lines were empty and I primed the pump and cracked all the lines but still not a drop. Where do I look, I have fuel in the injection pump (P7100) but can't get any at the injectors, filters full and I have cranked it many times but still nothing? Do I just keep cranking untill it comes. I don't want to crank at one time for too long,

Just went out and cracked the line on the injection pump and I am not getting any fuel. I have fuel at the filter, and I have fuel at the bleed on the bango bolt going to the injection pump but no fuel at the pump. Could it be a bleed line thing?

It sometimes takes quite a bit of priming to finally get fuel to the injectors. Any air that comes from the filter will set you back. Keep trying.

Make sure the fuel shutdown solenoid is pulling up. Leave all the lines about 1/2 turn loose at the injectors and crank. It takes about 10-15 seconds to get constant fuel spray at the injectors.

If you are afraid of running the pump to long or cranking the motor too much, I have heard some guys talk of pressurizing the fuel tank with a small amount of air. Then cracking the lines to bleed them.

Thank you

Thank you for all your timely replys but I was able to find out what it is. The fuel relay was accidently unplugged, plugged it in and presto. Now I just need to get everything inside (seats) put back in. I though while I have it down might as well clean the carpets good and scotch guard them. I really want to see what these new injectors due. Thanks again and this thread can be removed, it has been fixed.

In Military Aircrew we call it KISS, (Keep it simple stupid) when trouble shooting, I've seen people chase wires out in a plane just to fine a circuit breaker pooped:p Good to hear you have it back running.
