2 more MPG!!!!! verified at the pump. My over head display went from 14. 4 to 17. 0. Knowing it was off, I have been manually checking it. My manual checking with calculater was 13. 1 to now 15. 1. I think they are reducing the amount of fuel being dumped into the engine. My truck runs awsome... very pleased.

I also seemed to get a little better mileage. I seemed to notice that it went up a little faster after I towed. . Last tow job the MPG was around 9 so if this continues with the engine break in, that should work good.

also... depending on what part of country you're in,,,milage increases with the switch to #2 form #1 at the pump (summer blend = > milage)

The jury is still out on mine. So far it appears to up shift smoother and the down shifts are not as hard, will do a hard pull to Durango over the 4th and we will compare it with last years run.

I just finished a trip from Manteca, Ca to Corvallis Or. My gross combined was 23,500. The prevailing winds were from head on to cross and in the neighborhood or 30 mph. I clocked an average of 11. 4 at 60 mph. This is no improvement over previous recording pre J-35. I don't notice any improvement running solo either, if anything maybe a little less! I'm still smilin' though, love the truck.

J-35 flash imapcted towing milage

Pre J-35 flash my towing milage had finally started to increase to about 13. 5 mpg. After the flash right back down to 10!! Non-towing milage is 17 to 19 depending upon how heavy footed I get. Other than the milage towing I love the truck. I replaced my 93 D250 5 speed with this new truck. Use to get 18-20 towing and 20-22 around town.
