I have been reading everyone's posts on here for a long time. And I must say this is my #1 without question, favorite website. I don't post a lot of questions/comments, but like to read and take into consideration what others have done. Along the way I have taken advantage of 2 group purchases which I thank dearly for the members on here that provided them. 1 Being a BD exhaust brake, and #2, Pratical Solutions boost module. I always knew that I day I would bomb. One day I will too enjoy that priceless smile on my face when I blow past the laywer driving the sports car. Well, today I did it.
Today I ordered my 275 bosch injectors, and a VA CPC. Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing no one else on here hasn't seen before. It took me 11 months of thing to decide what was right for me. I basically put up this post for all the new guys out there anxious to take the first step. Please don't be afraid to take your time and waste your money on things you won't like. These accessories aren't cheap.
I would just like to thank all of the members on here for making this website the best place for information about the truck that we all love and take care of.
So in closing, I would just like to say -"Friends, partners, and all others alike, "I HAVE BOMBED"
---------------------------------------------
99 Quad Cab, 4X4, 6-speed, 4. 10's, Sport package, Amsoil air filter, Practical Solutions Boost Module, silencer ring tossed, and VA & 275's on the way... WOOOOOPPPEEEEEE. .

P. S. - Can anyone reccomend a good set of gauges ? (pyrometer and boost... . and yes, I know I'm not bombing in correct order, but I'll behave, I promise !!)

Cool. You won't regret it one bit. Now your
Cummins will run like it was meant to!

I have a set of Autometer Sport Comp gauges
on my A pillar. Here is a link to an image so
you can see what they look like: Autometer Gauges

These are the part numbers:

ATM-15203 Gauge Pod, dual $24. 95
ATM-3304 2 1/16th boost $45. 95
ATM-3365 EGT gauge $99. 95
ATM-xxxx Pyrometer $xxx. xx
(I am researching the part number for the
pyrometer; I am using the wrong one and have
to order a different one).

The Autometer gauges are not cheap as you can
see but they work great and the quality is
top notch. The back-lighting matches the
instruments perfectly at night. The A-pillar
does not stick out into your line of sight
as bad as some other brands do, although our
A pillars are as big around as a small tree
and more than once I have been taken by
suprise during a left hand curve to see a car
there that was hidden by that big pillar!
(This was before I installed the gauges and
pillar mount too).

Good luck and happy bombing!

The difference between a modified Cummins and the stock version is like night and day. You really won't believe how much more you are going to like your truck.
