Love my new truck - 2018, CC, 3500, Shortbed, 4WD, Diesel, Aisin. A big change from my old 2001 Ford F250.

Truck handles the load of my heavy camper and trailer, but the rear end gets low, and front end high. Was hoping to avoid adding air bags, but think that is my solution.

Thoughts and Recommendations?

Thx,

Does your truck set level loaded? If not for one I would be concerned with the load you are applying to your rear tires.

If it sets level leave it alone.

Camper is about 3300# wet. Tires rated for 3640#. Yes is a big load, and does set the rear down, and put nose up to the point headlights are pointing up.

Truck handles the load great. Very stable, stops great. Really only issue I have is the nose is high and I get people flashing me to turn my low beams down.

If you don’t like the front end pointing at the sky, then put air bags on it. It really doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. They will not ruin the unloaded ride.

If the head lights are looking for UFOs in the sky, me thinks the rear axle is overloaded. Pictures??? SnoKing

I get flashed ALL the time with my truck in ALT ride mode with factory rear air ride.

If truck looks like this with load leave it alone. If rear is significantly lower in the rear add bags.
