Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) aftermarket air filters...

I'm new to the CTD world. With all the concerns I've read about regarding "oiled" air filters... does anyone make one that does not require oil?

There is the BHAF(big honkin air filter). Do a search for bhaf you will find part numbers and where to find heat shield and template to build your own heat shield. I had drop in K&N after reading past post I went with the bhaf. just my 2 cents.

Been running a BHAF for several years. Works great, fits fine, never seen any junk in the turbo inlet housing.

I will be running my next dyno run with and without the filter, I've been told that it may be the restriction in my setup stopping top end power...

AFE's ProGuard 7 is an oiled filter but when you use their oil it doesn't bleed into the turbo. It also exceeds factory specs for filtration.
